UNC Center for Women's Mood Disorders - Chapel Hill
Support Groups
UNC- Chapel Hill Departments of Psychiatry and Maternal and Child Health is now
offering a Free Support Group for women with depression associated with pregnancy
and postpartum.  Bi-weekly meetings are
located in Chapel Hill.  Meetings are held every 2nd and 4th Tuesday from 6:30-8:00 PM,
free of charge.

Moms and Emotions
UNC- Chapel Hill Department of Psychiatry offers an educational group called “Moms
and Emotions” taught by Dr. Pedersen, at the UNC Women’s Health Information Center
(WHIC) just off the lobby of the UNC Women’s Hospital. This is a one-time class,
primarily to educate pregnant women anticipating childbirth. For details, please call 919-
